It is All of Grace

(A poem for communion)

It is all of grace

When I look inside

When I see how ugly

Yet you beckon me

Come Join you at your table

And consider the cross

Consider a broken body

Consider the blood that flowed

So freely for me

It is all of grace

That I take this bread

I take this cup

And dine with you at the table

Celebrate this covenant meal

Celebrate the ugly made beautiful

Made new—Made for you

Made for your glory

It is all of grace
